Story of How Tinyview Started
Raj Lalwani, our founder, is widely known as a movie buff. In order to get good seats, he likes to go to the movie theater early. In December 2011, he decided to make a good use of the 30 minutes he had before the movie started - by shopping on his iPhone. He didn't want to install an app for each store. Luckily, most stores had optimized their sites for mobile browsers but it was still a lot of effort to enter their URLs, login and enter credit card information and shipping address. Raj did complete the transactions on Nordstrom and Gap sites and the idea of Tinyview™ was born!
